Indie-rock intertwined with fresh, summer vibes – Blanketman release their new single ‘Beach Body’.
Blanketman are a band destined for big things. Already at the forefront of Manchester’s incredible music scene, the band have released a new single that is sure to help them on their way to even more success.
‘Beach Body’ is a bouncy indie-rock track that is bringing back the summer vibes. The song packs a punch into its short two and a half minute runtime.
With distorted, heavy guitars creating a surf rock vibe, Adam Hoppers’ brilliant vocal performance brings the track to life. After a rather testing summer, Blanketman saw the opportunity to release a different type of summer banger, one that reflects current events. “After a troubled lost summer, we felt we needed a new advert for British exceptionalism and the Brit abroad.”
Produced by Luke Smith, who has worked with Foals, Depeche Mode and LIFE, the song captures the feeling of being on a beach with a beer in hand. It will definitely be a great track to hear live at a festival.
The track is brilliantly accompanied by a very creative music video by Hannah Cobb.
