South-coast indie-poppers Crystal Tides create their own rendition of East 17’s Christmas hit, ‘Stay Another Day’
Pop boy band East 17 released their iconic Christmas song ‘Stay Another Day’ in 1974 which charted at the top of the charts, taking the number one spot. Creating their own twist and spin on it, Southern boys Crystal Tides sprinkled their indie-pop style into it to make their own incredible rendition.
Their twist consists of frontman Billy’s caramel-smooth vocals wrapping around the mellow strums of the guitar in each verse, then being pelted into a distorted chorus.
Releasing their self-recorded music video, you see the four-piece laughing, smiling, and playing around with it and, it’s all rather fun. The lads sure know how to put a smile on your face.
