Glass Violet are back with their latest single Clockwork, and we’re back with our undivided attention.
Five-piece band Glass Violet have just released their latest single ‘Clockwork’. Drawing their inspiration from bands like Kasabian and Foals, which is clear in their music; a hybrid almost of the two styles. The huge chorus’ combined with synth undertones really draws focus to the intricacy of the music and how compelling the synergy of sounds can truly be.
‘Clockwork’ is described by the band as “a song about time and space”, something you find yourself truly understanding when the vocals hit the intro; it feels like a lifetime in a song, and yet, it’s not long enough. It’s one you want to listen to, again, and then put it on your road trip playlist. If you were to listen to this band whilst stuck in traffic, you’d find yourself thanking the pile up before you, for giving you the time to lose yourself in Glass Violet’s polyphonic performance. To be fixated in the aural phase has never felt so good.
