Liverpool four-piece Honey Motel have released their brand new single ‘Keep it to Yourself’ alongside b-side track ‘How to Kill a Man’
Liverpool four-piece Honey Motel has returned with their new tune ‘Keep It To Yourself’, alongside a secret b-side track titled ‘How to Kill a Man’. Despite only being a band since early 2020, their previous singles have gained them air time on the radio and they have been championed by the likes of This Feeling, BBC Introducing Merseyside, and XS Manchester.
‘Keep It To Yourself’ springs into action with dulcet dribbles of guitar, accompanied by frontman Matthew Walker’s polished vocals. Further, into the track, the band’s energy hits with full force and is preserved by an electronic bridge.
The powerful belter takes on themes of relationships and human nature. ‘Keep It To Yourself’ is described by the band as “a track that outlines the delicate and frangible nature of relationships” and it does this in quite a flamboyant fashion, it’s certainly a song designed to be played to huge crowds at some of the UK’s biggest and best festivals.
Honey Motel and the release of their brand new high-energy offerings are a refreshing reminder that experience and length of time spent within the music business do not matter – it’s more about having fun and knowing what you want from your music more than anything else.
