Bristol-three piece, The Cat Magic are set to release their brand new single ‘Three Thousand Feathers’
Hailing from Bristol, three-piece synth dreamboats The Cat Magic are set to release their brand new single ‘Three Thousand Feathers’ which is one of their most experimental singles to date. The track is peppered with summer synths, soft, tranquil vocals, and an 80s style sound.
Inspired by the likes of The War On Drugs and Tame Impala, they’re set to wow with their luscious new tune.
Discussing the themes of the song, The Cat Magic’s lead singer, Laurence Matone, said: “I came across the Jimmy Kimmel feature where reporters trick Coachella Festival goers into being over-enthusiastic about bands that are supposedly on the bill but don’t actually exist. I found this pretty funny and it gave way to the line, “I’ve been mistaken life is a festival, lies have been growing out through the weir”. Three Thousand Feathers is also a reference to the festival’s Native American headdress controversy a few years back”.
