Manchester three-piece, The Early Mornings release their gritty new single ‘Blank Sky’
The Early Mornings are back with their gritty post-punk that resonates from the likes of Dry Cleaning, Porridge Radio, who are alongside some of the many upcoming bands who are taking the music industry by storm.
‘Blank Sky’ seeps with pop melodies, distorted guitar strums, and a whole load of observational, politically inspired lines. Peppered with poetry almost as if each line had been cut up and stuck on a page, The Early Mornings are different and brilliantly unique.
The three-piece released their self-directed video, Annie said: “The colour palette, composition, and lighting of the video all mix to create a dullness; a mundane reality which is interposed with artistic references, flashes of colour and surrealism. This is an idea which extends throughout our music as well.”
The Early Mornings’ debut EP Unnecessary Creation will be released on the 18th June 2021
