The Seamonsters are back with their retro-sounding track “Blue Movie Baby”

Hailing from Sheffield, all-girl group ‘The Seamonsters’ have released their new track “Blue Movie Baby”. They are back, sounding moody laced with a retro aesthetic – almost like a Nintendo Gameboy, which I love. The song has strong bass lines, ethereal vocals and a strong drumbeat.

“Blue Movie Baby” will be a crowd pleaser; pleasing enough to get people dancing, what more could you want?

I love a girl group and if you are a fan of Black Honey, Pale Waves or Hinds I reckon they will be a band for you – just a suggestion.

‘The Seamonsters’ have a tour in the works and have been voted as “2019 ones to watch” by This Feeling and Pirate Studios. Their single has been produced by fellow up and coming Indie band ‘Yves’ singer, Harry Roke.

If you’re local to Sheffield or just fancy a trip, there is a release party (18.01.19) at The Washington with support from Lacuna Bloome and Rainy Day Fund.
