With a hop in her step, Indoor Foxes reveals her brand new single ‘Mr. Yellow Eyes’
The Scottish indie-pop queen has unleashed her brand new single ‘Mr. Yellow Eyes’ which is peppered with springy guitar licks, dashes of synths, and smothered with her smooth vocals, laden with her utterly fantastic accent. The self-produced lo-fi grunge-infected track is perfect for the sun, booze, and laughs.
The bedroom-pop icon has been tipped This Feeling, BBC Radio Scotland and, BBCR1 – much to her own success, Indoor Foxes is ready to batter down the hatches and take the industry on – she’s unstoppable.
Martha, herself spoke about the track and said: “I wrote this song as a letter to my dad about my partner and how much I want to show him how happy we are but how sad it can be. I’m looking back to my family for advice on how to make this relationship work when they feel so far from you. I wanted to talk about how it feels to watch something so beautiful start to feel so heavy and to acknowledge that I don’t know what I’m doing or how to make it work – and that’s ok. “
